British Breakfast and LeMay Auto Museum Tour – August 2007
CLNW has planned a tour of the LeMay auto museum on Saturday, March 31st, in Tacoma Washington. This is a no-need-to-drive-your-Lotus road trip! In fact, we encourage sharing and carpooling on this trip. The LeMay museum contains several thousand vehicles of all types. About 85% of the cars are American, dating as far back as the early 1900's, although there area a few surprising foreign cars. The museum is definitely worth visiting. You can find more information here: The LeMay Museum.
We plan on meeting at the G.I. Joes parking lot at Delta Park (I-5 exit 306B, head east on N.Victory / N.Whitaker, turn left onto N.Hayden Meadows Dr., G.I. Joes will be further down and on your right). In order to have a relaxed breakfast and make the 1pm tour time, we will meet at the uncivilised hour of 9:00AM and leave at 9:15. We will also hand out directions. After about 90 minutes we will stop for a British Breakfast / Lunch in Chehalis (exit 77, left on Main, left on SW Newaukum) and then after about an hour we will head north to Tacoma for the 1pm tour, which takes about two hours. Cost of the tour is $15.
