Latest Club News – September 2007
For the Portland ABFM we had an excellent display of Lotus cars – about 22 in our corral.
Prior to the ABFM, we had excellent weather for our track day and a diverse mix of cars.
More details on the track day and ABFM (plus the Washington ABFM) will appear later.
Earlier this year, our club decided to go on monthly drives, on the third Saturday of each month. This month, we have no organized drive, but members expressed interest in the Maryhill Loops Hillclimb. In addition to the monthly drives while the weather is good, we have a list of possible winter events; these can be reviewed at the next General Membership and Planning Meeting. Our intent for these events is to plan one month in advance, to allow enough time to get information to members so they can decide and plan for the event.
One suggested club event is a Hood River English Pub drive. Another is a tour of the Evergreen Aviation Museum.
