<font color="#00b050"><b>Hello:<br><br>I just thought that a few of you might be interested in knowing that the Portland ABFM that was held at the Portland International Raceway last Saturday had a fairly nice turnout of Lotus cars (13 real Lotus cars plus one Super 7 clone) and, interestingly, almost that many Lotus race cars were taking part in the SOVREN-hosted Columbia River Classic vintage races that was going on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. <br><br>You might like to know that I saw and talked with ELCC-members; Don Christopher, Bob Cross and Mark Velky (who's also the President of Club Lotus NW which is headquartered in Portland) who were spectators and also saw and talked with ELCC-members Fred McDonald and Myles Winbigler who were competing with their Lotus cars.<br><br>And, for those of you who are amused by this sort of thing, the headlights on my '76 Lotus Elite refused to stay closed/down on the way south and (of course!) during the ABFM, but
obediently stayed closed/down all the way heading north... my car for the weekend, 399.9 miles door-to-door at 65-75 mph without a hick-up.
