Our cars are a different kind of addiction, but I find it somewhat amusing that I managed to show up at a Lotus club meeting 1200 miles from home. Thank you for making me feel welcome. I had a good time.<br><br>I live in Denver but am employed by a Portland company, so I'm in town every now and then. I decided a while ago that I should reach out to the local lotus club and see if its possible to run laps at PIR. Long story short, I decided to join you for your track day this year. I'm still early in the planning stage, obviously, but am already excited about it.<br><br>The trip will be anchored around track day on 8/29. I've already lined up a three day trip on the Deschutes River. And it looks like I'll be able to squeeze in a day at Oregon Raceway Park. I'd be happy to hear suggestions for good Lotus roads in the region that I might be able to include on the way here or the way home.
